If you are wondering what exactly "needle felting" is, in short, it is the meshing or "felting" of fibers together causing them to lock together to form a firm nonravleling fabric.

There are two types of felting, wet and dry.  This wonderful book will explalin both processes, but will focus mainly on the dry felting process.  Felting can be done by hand or by using a felting machine - which "Thimbles" carry both the "Baby Lock Embellisher" and the "Pfaff 350p."  The Felting process is easy, relaxing and extremely creative. 

The fibers and threads you use look fabulous and will reallly charge the "artist" in you.
